And we're back. Again this year the Rally is the penultimate round of the Brian Green New Zealand Rally Championship and also Round 5, the Final Rounds of the North Island Rally Series - Rally Te Ika-a-Maui, which will be great for all the Clubman competitors.
Again this year the Rally is based out of Tauranga and will be a big loop that brings everyone back to Tauranga. But there are some surprises in there for competitors. One central service park (in Kawerau) and two stages repeated in the forest that hasn't been used for 20+ years.
The Official Start with a rally show on Friday 10 Oct will again be at Mitre10 Mega, Cameron Rd Tauranga and will include the ceremonial start from their carpark. Then early on Saturday morning (11th Oct) the start at 5:45am from Classic Flyers at the Mount. Then they're off to two early morning stages before heading to Kawerau for Service 1. Then two stages and a refuel, back to Regroup/Service 2 and two more stages and a refuel before Service 3 at Kawerau. Then there's four more stages to go, with a short Refuel/Service in the middle. Then they head back to Mt Maunganui for the ceremonial finish at the amazing Classic Flyers venue. This is where the Finish Parc Ferme will be and the Prizegiving Ramp.
